Here it is December. Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving. Real nice weather right now. Been back in the roping pen again. Finally started roping at some rodeos. Gene McLaughlin and I went to a rodeo at Camp Pendelton, California. I heeled for Gene in the open roping and also in the over 40 roping. Gene and I won first in the open roping. I got lucky and roped both steers by two feet.

In the over 40, Gene missed one and I missed one. I did win second in the over 40 heading for Stan Ware. We have some more to go to in August. I'll let you know how it goes in next Month's newsletter.
Robbie and I took two of the grandkids, Tyler and Kade to Maui Hawaii at the end of June. Had a real nice time. The kids swam in the pool and the ocean a lot. We took them on a submarine for an adventure. Went on a boat to a crater and did some snorkeling. We took them to a Luau . Had a real nice time.

We were home for a few days and then went to Utah, fishing for our yearly trip there. Some friends from Moorpark went with us. Our son Cody and his girlfriend Renee went . Jodie ,Stacy and 3 grand kids came in from Colorado. Fishing was real good and everyone had fun. That took care of July, time to settle down for a few months.

We usually rope at the ranch on Tuesday and Thursday evenings around 5:PM. (summertime) & also on Saturday and Sunday mornings, around 9:A.M. unless we're at a rodeo somewhere. Stop by & watch or come & rope with us.
