"The people whom I formed for Myself, Will declare My praise." Isaiah 43:21 NAS

When this verse was written it was written to the people whom God had formed that were His chosen people. The Israelites were God's chosen people and today the Jews are still God's chosen people who dwell in the land where He has chosen to set His name (1 Kings 11:36, 2 Kings 21:4). "For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. "This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it (Ps 132:13-14 NAS)."

We are all God's chosen people grafted in by the purchase price of one Jesus Christ, Son of God, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, Prince of Peace and Mighty God (Romans 11:17-24, 1 Cor 6:20, Rev 5:9). We were formed for one awesome reason. We are here for one great purpose. That one sole purpose is to worship the God of heaven and earth, the only true God worthy of all praise.

We are God's chosen people in Christ. All persons must accept Christ to be called His son or His daughter. We know "...many are called, but few are chosen (Matt 22:14 NAS)." We know the road is narrow and few find it. It is so awesome to be chosen of God and to hear His calling. Romans 8:30 says we have been called and justified. It makes a huge difference in our Christian walk when we understand how deeply and personally each of us has been chosen of by the Creator of the universe.

1 Peter 2:8-9 says, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (NAS)." Ephesians 1:4 says, "just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him..." and it was "...according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved (Eph 1:5-6 NAS)."

We were formed by the kind intention of His will to the praise of His glory so that we could declare His praise for eternity. This means we have been formed by Him for Him and to Him for His glory. Everything we do then should declare His praise. Today think on how you were formed for Him to declare His praise. Think on the fact that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so we could come into His presence as chosen of God through Jesus Christ.

Whatever you are doing and wherever you are going today ask yourself, "How can I declare His praise?" Have an excellent day in the Lord.
