In its very first year, COUNTRY SATURDAY NIGHT's host, Rod DeWeese, established the CSN community advisory group (who humorously nicknamed themselves, "the posse," and Rod, "the sheriff").

The group meets at the host's discretion, about once each year, and provides the following benefits to Country Saturday Night as agreed upon by all members of the group:

--Each member serves as a first-contact option for new patrons
...(in addition to host) by e-mail via CSN's web site.
--Each member serves as an extra outlet (in addition to host)
...to whom patrons may give compliments, suggestions, or complaints.
--Members participate in brainstorming for event improvements.
--Members provide feedback to host on new ideas and alternatives for event.
--Members provide feedback to host as pulse takers of patrons.
--Members provide feedback to host on decisions-to-be-made that he presents.
--Members provide feedback to host on problems he presents.
--Members alert host about problems of which he may be unaware.
--Members seek to correct and discourage misconceptions about event and
...host among patrons.
--Members seek to encourage harmony with related community groups.
