Notes:

• Remission and Back and Forth series 2 feature essentially the same version of the track, while the original Back and Forth series 1 cassette contained a slightly different version. It seems that after recording and mixing the original version in January of 1984, work on the mix continued, resulting in a subtly different mix appearing on Remission. When the time came to mix Back and Forth series 2 from the original multi-track tapes, apparently it was decided to simply use the already mixed Remission version rather than attempt to recreate the Back and Forth series 1 mix retroactively. It is also quite possible that the work that occurred on the track in the interim between Back and Forth series 1 and Remission was done on the original multi-track tapes, making recovery of the original mix impossible. If this is the case, then the original mix exists only on the two-track, mixed copies of Back and Forth series 1 (and dubs thereof), which would explain the necessity of using the Remission mix on Back and Forth series 2. And, yes, I am the only person on earth who actually gives a shit.
