My last show of the year of 2004 (my first full year on the air).
LPD as a belatedly fulfilled request from #litany. Ritalin as a belatedly fulfilled request from Rachel, the two ohGr tracks played as requested by her this week. Normally I wouldn't play two songs from the same album, but she requested hearing that segue. How could I not fulfill the request of such a loyal listener?
Someone called in during the ohGr songs and requested some delta blues, in honor of a bad 2004 but looking at a better 2005. So what followed was my attempt to get from ohGr down further south.
Also received a fantastic call from someone who was ecstatic to hear the Beefheart and Zappa and asked for a recording of the show (!), but sadly I had not recorded that portion.
The segue of "Beale St. Blues" to "Manhattan Ave." was too tempting to resist.
One of the most enjoyable shows I've done to date.
