Hilt: White Stuff

Lyrics:

What do you say about eve
What is evil
What is evil
What is evil
What is evil

Go
White stuff

Another day in the sky we're not where we're meant to be
What we care about we can't say it's become an obsession

??? gonna die and now dead dreams
??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams
??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams

??? so long ago
Feel my head my eyes are red
Burnt out ??? see
??? by me
??? me
I am a major weapon
I can stop to save invention
I can stop you say your connection
Want to get a mental weapon

??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams
??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams
??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams

white stuff

another day in the sky we're not where we're meant to be
what we care about we can't say it's become an obsession

something's real
something's ???
so succesful
you are too

make some shit
make some tear off ???
I got ???
I got ???
???

??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams
??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams
??? I'm gonna die and now dead dreams

??? blow out the side of your
Out the side of your head
Out the side of your ??? head
???
??? down and it never meant much

Give me a ???

White stuff
Wrap it up and throw it away
???

??? I can't say

White stuff

Total Versions: 2

Samples:

Man 1: Mix it a little with your cigarette like this thing so that the tobacco comes out the end. Then you put a little pinch inside its easy
Man 2: Why are you talking so much, Oliver, you never used to talk so much
Man 1: I'm stoned as a matter of fact. Do I look like a monster? The Devil? Well, take it. Take it. Take it.

Notes:

  • While the tracking of the Orange Pony CD indicates that the sample listed above is the end of Yellow Sunshine, the time sheet printed on the album points to the fact that this was a mastering error. Presuming this is correct, the final 47 seconds of track 3 on the CD are in fact the first 47 seconds of White Stuff.
  • According to the liner notes, this track was written by Meklaker Fletcher in 1978. This same name appears on a few Hilt releases. BMI credits this track to the normal Hilt members. It is possible that this track dates from some of cEvin and Al's work together before Skinny Puppy in Illegal Youth.
