Skinny Puppy & Related Releases:
Lyrics & Annotations

Originally this section provided only lyrics organized (poorly) by album. I have now revamped this section with the hope of providing a complete guide to all aspects of Skinny Puppy's music. Simply pick an album from the Releases List or a song from the Song List below. Since this format is new, there may be many broken links and errors located within. If you spot any of these, please let me know. There are also some notable holes in the catalog (Ain't It Dead Yet?, 12" Anthology, B Sides Collect, many other projects) and some of the song info is incomplete, paricularly in the area of samples. This will be added soon. As always, feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  • Many of these lyric transcriptions were done by fans and should not be considered the "official" lyrics. Unfortunately, putting these lyrics in print may rob them of some of their interpretative nature. The wording and grammar used in these transcriptions is not meant to favor a specific 'meaning'. "A way" can also be heard as "Away." I've tried to make these transcriptions as open ended as possible in order to allow the listener to make up his or her mind as to what is truly being said.
  • Though I've tried to include a great deal of infortmation this section is not meant to be a complete discography. For thorough information on all Skinny Puppy and related releases check out the excellent Discography maintained by Todd Zachritz at http://www.evansville.net/~tgodsend/brap.html
  • The references in the transcription credits to 'unknown' transcribers most often indicates that the transcription is based on those which appeared many years ago on the Unofficial Skinny Puppy Homepage (no longer in existence).  Those transcriptions were identical to those included on the Brap CD-ROM, including the same errors. For this reason I have not considered the Brap CD-ROM transcriptions to be 'official'.
