1. Lebius Guy¹ GARRETT (#217) was born in Pennsylvania 1889. Lebius died December 31, 1962 in Lebannon Oh, at 73 years of age.

Lebius's occupation: music teacher. At 34 years of age Lebius became the father of Charles Howard GARRETT September 1, 1923. At 35 years of age Lebius became the father of Ruth "Ruthie" GARRETT January 28, 1925. At 37 years of age Lebius became the father of Robert Guy GARRETT in Sommerset, Pa, February 3, 1927. At 42 years of age Lebius became the father of Margorie GARRETT in Uniontown Pa, October 6, 1931. At 43 years of age Lebius became the father of Mary GARRETT January 7, 1933. Went through 8th grade fomally. Taught violin at Washington Jefferson Univeristy. Met Ruth as a student of his. Had to travel to find pianos to tune. Played violin for the silent movies. In later years tuned pianos and gave music lessons.

Lebius Guy GARRETT and Ruth HOWARD had the following children:

2 i. Charles Howard² GARRETT (#221) was born September 1, 1923. Charles died August 7, 1944 at 20 years of age. Killed in World War II, Pilot died in plane crash near Arlington naval pilot during war

3 ii. Ruth "Ruthie" GARRETT (#222) was born January 28, 1925. Ruth died May 1, 1990 at 65 years of age. She married Jim KESSLER. (Jim KESSLER is #248.) 2-3 years of college met Jim Kessler, a coal miner together, they developed and worked in his father's coal mine and then bought several becoming self-made millionairres She and Jim became passionate about the environment and were generous to their family. She died in about 1990 of breast cancer.
