30. Mottrom¹² BALL (Spencer Mottrom¹¹, Spencer¹⁰, Joseph⁹, William⁸, William⁷, William⁶, John⁵, John⁴, William³, Robert², William¹) (#111) was born in Coan 1767. Mottrom died August 23, 1842 in Woodbury, at 75 years of age.

He married twice. He married an unknown person. He married Martha Corbin TUBERVILLE January 25, 1800. (Martha Corbin TUBERVILLE is #123.) Martha was born in From Hickory Hill, Westmorlan Co, Va November 4, 1778. Martha was the daughter of John TUBERVILLE and Martha CORBIN. Martha died March 26, 1865 at 86 years of age. At 26 years of age Martha became the mother of Spencer Mottrom BALL 1805. At 38 years of age Mottrom became the father of Spencer Mottrom BALL 1805. At 44 years of age Mottrom became the father of William Waring BALL March 21, 1812. Received education in medicine from University of Glasgo, Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1814, following devastation of his property by the British, he left Westmorland Co. and settled in Fairfax Co, VA where the family had large holding.
