34. William Waring13 BALL (Mottrom12, Spencer Mottrom11, Spencer10, Joseph9, William8, William7, William6, John5, John4, William3, Robert2, William1) (#78) was born March 21, 1812. William died March 25, 1852 at 40 years of age.

He married Dorothy Hodsen MCCABE May 6, 1834. (Dorothy Hodsen MCCABE is #86.) Dorothy was born in Leesburg Va January 20, 1816. Dorothy was the daughter of John H. MCCABE and UNKNOWN. Dorothy died October 12, 1889 in Elmwood, at 73 years of age. At 21 years of age Dorothy became the mother of Mottrom McCabe BALL March 4, 1837. At 37 years of age Dorothy became the mother of Issac Lauck BALL March 27, 1853.

At 24 years of age William became the father of Mottrom McCabe BALL March 4, 1837. At 41 years of age William became the father of Issac Lauck BALL March 27, 1853. Inherited "Woodbury," a Turburville place. 10 children resulted from this marriage, all except Alfred, lived to adulthood. five sons were in the Confederate Army in the same company. Two were killed in battle of Summerfiled, buried in the cemetary of the Episcopal Church at Brook Hill on the north edge of Richmond. Birth order: Mary Gray, Mottrom McCabe, Summerfield, John Henry, Wiliam Waring, Alfred Clifton, Lewin Trurberville, Charles Tebbs, Isaac Lauek, Marth Corbin Turberville.
