First Generation

1. Dan1 GUNDERSEN (#8) (still alive).

Dan GUNDERSEN and Gladys HUTTON had the following children:

child 2 i. Evelyn2 GUNDERSEN (#9) was born in Baker Mt before January 3, 1942, the first event for which there is a recorded date. Evelyn became the mother of Dan Brent SELDEN in Coeur D'alene, Idaho, October 8, 1946. Evelyn became the mother of Sharon SELDEN in Coeur D'alene, Idaho, November 16, 1949. Irene's only (younger) sister.

child 3 ii. Irene GUNDERSEN (#6) was born in Baker, Mt (fallon County) February 23, 1920. Irene died March 21, 1995 in Ephrata, Wa, at 75 years of age. She married three times. She married Emmett Corbin BALL in Baker, MT, January 1, 1944. (Emmett Corbin BALL is #5.) Emmett was born in Stacey - Powder River, Mt September 29, 1913. Emmett was the son of Mottrom McCabe BALL and Mary Mabel HAMILTON. Emmett died November 14, 1968 at 55 years of age. At 35 years of age Emmett became the father of Corbin Wayne BALL in Ephrata, Wa, April 19, 1949. At 38 years of age Emmett became the father of Brian Joseph BALL in Ephrata, Wa, November 23, 1951. (See Emmett Corbin BALL for the continuation of this line.) She married Bill BISHOP in Ephrata, 1968. (Bill BISHOP is #262.) Bill was born 1900. Bill died about 1971. She married John Gavin in Ephrata, 1985. (John Gavin is #435.) John was born in Wenatchee, WA 1913. John died 1997 in Epharata, WA, at 84 years of age. John was born and raised in Wenatchee and went to Engineering School at the University of Washington. He served in WWII under General Patton in N. Africa, Italy, France and Germany. After the war he moved to Ephrata. John was a gentle, quiet man who years with Irene were very happy. He died of lung cancer in 1997.

At 29 years of age Irene became the mother of Corbin Wayne BALL in Ephrata, Wa, April 19, 1949. At 31 years of age Irene became the mother of Brian Joseph BALL in Ephrata, Wa, November 23, 1951. Lived first few years on the farm in Montana, at about 8 years old, moved into Baker (during the depression) where parents ran a private hospital. Graduated from Baker HS, and worked as a telephone operator. Met Corbin while working as an usher in the local theater house (Corbin was the projectionist). Married in Baker. Worked as a receptionist for Boeing during the war (Corbin was stationed in Alabama) then moved to Ephrata to raise the family.
