ORGANIZATION

In most cases the feature is listed first (preceded, when called for, by the degree or size of the feature) followed by its position and then the aspect affected.

• example:  A book that had 1/4" of edge browning running along the right edge of the front cover would be written as follows:

                              degree: 1/4" ; feature:  EB ;   position:  R ;  aspect:  FC

                               = 1/4" EB RFC

I realize that this may be somewhat confusing.  Should you be unable to make heads or tails of a  particular note, just cut and paste it into an email and send it to Bill (bill@copcomco.com) for decoding.
