A NOTE ON COPACETIC COLLECTIONS

All comics in our collections have been individually paged and are guaranteed complete.

The comics in our collections have been scrupulously graded and fairly priced by a comics professional with over 25 years experience grading and pricing comic books.  We stand by our grades and prices and believe that you will be pleased with any and all comics purchased from our collections.  Should you, however, be unhappy with any of the comics you receive for any reason, there is no need to fret as satisfaction is guaranteed on all orders.

All books in our collections have been gently cleaned and placed in 2 mil Mylite sleeves along with acid-free 24 mil backs (with 3% calcium buffer); both manufactured by E. Gerber Products.

A NOTE ON THE GRADING SYSTEM

Having been in the comics biz as long as we have -- over 25 years -- we are personally more comfortable employing letter grades as opposed to the more recent trend toward numerical grades.  The primary reason for this is that we associate letter grades with reading, collecting and treasuring comics while we associate numerical grades with investing and speculating in comics.  Be that as it may, it is only our opinion-- and a highly subjective one at that.  We can certainly understand others feeling differently and see the value in the numerical grading system and so are here providing a key whereby you may convert our letter grades to their numerical equivalents.

And for any of you who might be novices to comics collecting,
here's a key to the letter grades in plain English:
M Mint
NM Near Mint
VF Very Fine
F Fine
VG Very Good
G Good
f fair
p poor
As to a detailed explanation of these grades, we would refer anyone who would like a greater understanding to read the section on grading that is contained in every edition of the Overstreet Price Guide, which is available at practically any comic book store in America.  You may order a copy of the current edition from us for $25.00 postpaid.

A NOTE ON THE PRICING

The pricing of all books is based on a strict interpretation of the Overstreet Price Guide. For the most part, comics published after 1968 are priced at least 20% below the Overstreet value, while comics from before 1968 are priced at full Overstreet.  Some collections offer additional discounts -- usually on purchases of five or more comics (check each collection for details).  Which edition we used to price each collection depends on when we originally processed the collection. On the collections listed below, this ranges from the 2001-2002 which was used for the entire "Copacetic Collection" to the 2007-2008 edition, which was used for the " DC Silver Age" collection.  All the rest fall somewhere inbetween.

Should you have any questions, whether about the collection as a whole, about a particular book or books, and/or about store policy or any other concern you may have, please do not hesitate to get in touch by email or telephone.   We will be happy to assist you.
