Welcome to Tom's Environmental Station!THIS PAGE IS AMAZINGLY OUTDATED!
It is being preserved solely for its historical value. I will not be updating this page anytime soon...I have many better things to do. If you want environmental information, try Google. If
you want random stuff, try Caltizzle.

Rodolfo Montiel Flores and Teodoro Cabrera Garcia are Mexican farmers who peacefully protested logging of the forests near their homes, which was causing the land to become dryer and less suitable for farming. On May 2, 1999, they were arrested. They were tortured and forced to confess to crimes that they did not commit. Recently, they were convicted of weapons and drug charges. To find out what you can do to help Rodolfo Montiel and Teodoro Cabrera, visit the Sierra Club Human Rights Campaign at <http://www.sierraclub.org/human%2Drights/mexico/>.
