Music has always been a part of my life. My desire to provide music for my son eventually brought me to the Peabody Institute, first as an Adult Continuing Education student, and most recently as a Conservatory student completing a Masters Degree in Recorder Performance. Obviously, I am not a typical conservatory student. Most of my fellow classmates are of my son’s generation, yet I couldn’t be happier. I am extremely fortunate to pursue my passion for music, study with some of the best teachers in the world, and play music with incredible musicians who will be tomorrow’s classical music artists. Before becoming a Peabody Conservatory student, I pursued interesting careers in agriculture and computers. My other college degrees are in Agronomy. I currently teach private music lessons on flute and recorder, and I compose music. In addition to Consort Anon., I am a member of the Peabody Renaissance Ensemble and the Peabody Recorder Consort. I am active in the St. Matthew's United Methodist Church music program where I direct the SpiritMove choir and perform special music during worship services. .
