This great beach house once was home to award winning author and screen writer, Robert Wilder. One of his many works included
book and movie, Flamingo Road after which this guest house was named. Wonderful vintage posters of classic movies from his
screen plays such as Flamingo Road, the Big Country and Written on the Wind are displayed on the walls in the Flamingo Unit
A.
The Flamingo Beach Units are located on the beach side of A1A. There are no busy roads to cross to get to the beach...it
is just steps away. This beach house does not have a pool. Ormond by the Sea has beautiful, uncrowded, no drive beaches great
for couples and families. Nearby Daytona and Orlando offer great activities for all ages.
