Combat Rock Promotion

Hey party people... May has really kicked in out here in sunny California. It's been beautful weather the last few days and summer is definitely here. My condolences to those out there who just got snow (in May?!?!), but hey... snowball fights! Musexpo was AMAZING. Some of you aksed me, what is Musexpo? Well, it was kind of like a convention. But it was really fun and cool. It was smaller than most conventions usually are, so it was more intimate and allowed people to really meet up and socialize. Props to Sat Bisla and Karmen Beck for putting on such a great event. Three new clients joined the Combat Rock family this week: The Sloppy Meateaters from Rome, GA, Dexter Danger from San Francisco, and Anagram also from San Francisco. The Sloppy Meateaters play southern pop punk with a twist, and have really matured on their new record "Conditioned by the Laugh Track" out June 14 through Bay Area punk label Orange Peal Records. Dexter Danger play punk-effing-rock and their new album "Hellafornia" will be out in July 2005, also on Orange Peal Records. Anagram is husband and wife team Jessica Congdon (the voice) and Eric Holland (the music), and their sound is electro-pop, akin to bands like Ladytron, New Order, and Mazzy Star.
