GARBAGE PAIL KIDS FLASHBACK 3 SKETCH CARDS
I drew sketch cards for the Topps trading card series Garbage Pail Kids Flashback 3. Sketch cards are original 1/1 hand drawings by artists that are randomly inserted into packs. For this series, sketch cards were drawn exclusively by artists who had worked on GPK before. Each of my sketch cards feature a different character (or version of that character if it appeared in more than one illustration) that I did not draw for the previous series. In addition to sketch cards, I came up with the concepts, which were then sketched out by Mark Pingitore, for the "Where Are They Now" Stormy Heather/April Showers card painted by Tom Bunk, the Phony Lisa/Mona Loser card painted by Jason Edmiston, and the Scalped Ralph/Bone-Head Fred card illustrated by Mark Pingitore. I also worked on the Adam Mania concepts with John Williams and Brent Engstrom, who illustrated all 10 using John Pound's original Adam Bomb painting. There's a great GPK fan site called Barren Aaron's GPK World that has more info about the set here.

For this series, sketch cards were drawn exclusively by artists who had worked on Wacky before. In addition to sketch cards, I came up with the concept for the Frisk Me card, painted by Brent Engstrom. Other concepts that I have done for Wacky include Thing Pop from ANS6, and the painted, unpublished Hormone Chili, which was slated to be in ANS7.

SKETCH CARDS
I drew sketch cards for two Topps trading card series that go on sale in hobby stores today: Garbage Pail Kids Flashback & Star Wars Galaxy 5. Sketch cards are original 1/1 hand drawings by artists that are randomly inserted into packs.

For Garbage Pail Kids Flashback, sketch cards were drawn exclusively by artists who had worked on GPK before. Each of my sketch cards feature a different character from the original series. There's a great GPK fan site called Barren Aaron's GPK World that has more info about the set and my involvement here.

For Star Wars Galaxy 5, the shaped sketch cards were drawn exclusively by “underground” artists. I drew shaped sketch cards, half of which are in the shape of Darth Maul’s head and the other half in the shape of a Clone Trooper’s helmet.

You can see images of all the sketch cards in the Sketches section.
