FRIENDS: Jim Henning was considered an Uncle of the Andrew Garver children, Troy, Garver, Hester, etc., (In fact they are via Uncle Harry Garver, who was married to a Hanna), making the Garver kids mentioned above (Andrew, Elma, Lora, Nora) Daddy's cousins. "They however loved Granddad Jim, calling him Uncle Jim, and believed him to be their uncle until they were older and their Mother explained the actual lineage...that Uncle Harry was really their true Uncle, not Uncle Jim. Katie told me that story. She said she cried and cried because she didn't want it to be true. She said they adored their "Uncle Jim" and always got so excited when they would see him come riding into sight on his horse "Snip" with his dog ...name I cannot remember though I vaguely remember the dog. We had a pup of his until he died of old age...Daddy really loved that dog as did we all ("Butch")."
