How it Works
WebLynx is essentially a database program.  You are presented with a table view of all or a subset of the records within your database.  When you select a record, it looks for which application is responsible for that record, then if the application is not currently running it starts it, and then sends special commands to the application to load & then display the desired file.

Being a database-based application, WebLynx allows you to easily store lots of records, display only specific records through the Category and Topic filters, and sort the displayed records through the Sort selector box.  In other words, you can manage your data.

Because it uses your applications to display the data, you don't have to convert any files, or learn a new application, and WebLynx can be used with just about any application.

Adding new records is incredibly easy too.  If you follow the procedure listed in the online Help (How to Add a Link Record), you can add a new record in seconds.  Before long you'll have an extensive database of links that you can easily get back to.  You'll never again have to say "Now where did I see that information?"

Finding the Desired Link
Weblynx provides several methods for getting to the desired set of links (the proverbial “Needle in a Haystack”). Use either one of the following methods, a mix, or all of them--whichever is best for the type of information you’re looking for.

• Use the Category and Topic drop-down boxes to refine the listing of links displayed for selection.
• Use the Sort Order drop-down box to change the ordering of links displayed for selection.
• Use the Button Selector to view a pre-set selection of links--just like the pre-set channel buttons on your radio and just as easy.
• Use the Search Button to find keyword entries in the Notes field.

Once the link you’re after is displayed in the grid window, simply double-click anywhere on the line it’s displayed on.
