Grandmothers Pledge of Nonviolence

Dear Family,

As your mother and grandmother it is my desire to help you to live a life of peace and joy, in harmony with other people, other sentient beings and with our home, the Earth.  In that spirit, I make the following pledge:

To live my life, to the best of my ability, as an example of peace and nonviolence.

To be available to listen and try to help when you are feeling un-peaceful.

To seek out and share with you, information and guidelines about living in peace, nonviolence and harmony with all.

To speak out against violence, oppression and injustice wherever I see it, so as to help make this a better world for you and for all the families of the world.
