Mother-to-Mother for Peace and Nonviolence This is a program that creates partnerships between mothers in conflicting cultures and nations for the purpose of supporting each other in their decision to raise their children in the ways of nonviolence. The goal is to raise a generation of young men and women who will not consider war or violence as an option for resolving conflict. The
New Economic Model This
program explores alternative economic models for the purpose of
designing a new paradigm for a culture of peace and creating a more
equitable world for all of earth’s citizens.

of the Sickle – A
program that engages farmers, consumers, and those living in poverty in
complementary activities that will enable all people without
discrimination to have access to an abundance of wholesome,
life-sustaining food. Peace Meals – On the first Saturday of each month Global Coalition for Peace offers live music, lunch, and an informative presentation on a peace-related issue. All are welcome, including children. There is no charge for this event. Call 301-654-6759 for details. Cooperation Not Competition – Play as friends not as enemies. It’s time to turn the tide and prepare a new world for our children, a world that is dominated by courage rather than fear, where love is bringing us together rather than hatred tearing us apart. A series of cooperative games being offered by GCFP gives people of all ages the opportunity to learn and play together in a non-competitive atmosphere.
