Coach-Parenting will teach you the parent coaching skills you need to help parents:

  1. Find practical, positive, and effective solutions to their parenting situations,

  2. Base their parenting on their own values, beliefs, and ideas,

  3. Coach themselves right in the middle of their parenting situations, and

  4. Use positive and empowering coaching skills with their children.

How to start coaching a parent

Coach-Parenting will teach you how to know where to start coaching a parent, what issues to address first, and how to make sure a parent has the support he/she needs.

What to do during your coaching sessions

Coach-Parenting will teach you how to coach a parent through a series of coaching sessions, what skills and tools to share with a parent and when, and how to know if the parent is progressing.

How to end a coaching relationship

Coach-Parenting will show you how to teach the coaching skills to the parents so that they can continue when they are on their own.  In addition, you'll learn how to know when to end a coaching relationship.

How to provide ongoing support to the parents you've coached

Coach-Parenting will show you how to offer ongoing support to the parents you've coached so that, even after you've finished formally coaching them, they can get the help they need during particularly tough situations, when their family situation changes, or when their children reach new developmental stages.

Coaching tools will make your coaching practical and effective

Once you have the skills to coach parents, you'll need the tools that will allow parents to use what you've taught them in their everyday parenting situations.

You could start from scratch and develop parent handouts, worksheets, and coaching tools.  You would also want to develop presentations and slide shows for presenting to groups of parents.  If you want to work with more than one parent at a time, you'll need to develop workshops and the handouts that go along with them.  All of this is very do-able, but it takes time and it takes experience to know what you'll need.  You could start from scratch and do all of this yourself, or you could purchase the Coach-Parenting License and have it all in your hands, fully developed and tested, today.

Coach-Parenting gives you the tools you need to work with parents individually and in groups.  Continue to learn more.
