A Note to Visitors
This page charts the development of Web sites and demonstrates easy page construction. Most samples use columnar format; all allow for user font control.
Writing for the Web becomes easier by the week. Wizards like Netscape Composer and other online tutorials provide excellent starting points. Routine programs like Microsoft Word 97 easily convert documents and data into HTML format. Web authoring tools like Adobe Page Mill and MS FrontPage allow non-techies to generate text, graphics, frames, columns, lists, and form fields without direct HTML coding or scripting.
The Eighth Floor Web demonstrates the versatility of Web authoring tools like FrontPage, with feedback forms, discussion pages, and search options. Originally a graduate project for The George Washington University, the Web serves as an organizational resource for a teacher training consortium, courtesy of Tulsa Technology Center.
