Cloth Dolls


The sun doll is an original pattern. I was suffering from winter angst and needed some sunshine during a dreary January day.

Original Cloth Dolls: The serpents were made up for the family to have fun with Dyna-flo paints. The unadorned goddess doll was made for a goddess round robin. My first attempt at needle felting - taught to me by Stephanie. And another goddess doll I made for myself to play with. The pumpkin pin is from a pumpkin pin swap on the Where Dolls Play group. The brown and purple fairies were done for the 2006 Creative Festival.

Here are my most recent cloth dolls from other's patterns. The Hotflash doll is a Pamela Hastings pattern for a challenge on Dollmaker's Journey. Simone is from Soft Dolls and Animals and designed by Jesse Chandler. The fairy pattern is by Patty Culea and the dragon is by Melinda Small Paterson. The autumn fairy pattern is by Jen Zacher. The beaded fairy pattern is by Patty Culea. The book doll is from a class with Anne Hess. The beaded blue chair is a Christine Shively pattern, and so is the countess doll.

These were made by my daughter Emily, when she was ten. I made the pattern and she did everything else.
