Brown Fairy Doll

This is the prototype for a fairy to be entered in the Enchanted Forest Challenge at the 2006 winter Creative Festival. If I don't get the second one done, this one will be entered. It was a muslin mockup of an original pattern, and it turned out pretty well, so I dyed it Procion Golden Brown.

The hair is hand-dyed mohair. The boots and bodice have tiny little 1/16 eyelets on them. The wings are hand-dyed and painted.
