In the Spring of 2003, I
received my authors' gratis copy of Meridian
Anthology of Contemporary Poetry, Vol I, Issue I, ISBN: 0-9729014-0-X, in
which are published my poems, “Amuse a Muse,” “Dragonflies,” “The
Drip,” and “The Pin.” The
brevity of these poems is one of the many styles that I use in my writing.
Amuse a Muse.
In mortal conflict,
the fitted form does
contradict.
*******
Dragonflies
casting their spawning rings
on the water,
seldom see the fish they
waken below.
*******
The
Drip
Phantom reminder of a season
wished bygone;
perching at nose tip----
returning as thoughts left
unfinished.
*******
The Pin
...so simple to discard, or
bend,
turning up unexpectedly
shows forceful assertion for
having been mislaid.
I am grateful
to God, and tickled, that MAOCP chose these four poems for the same
issue of their book.
Bless God for
His mercy and kindness!
