Looking across a crowded room, you spot a jewel-toned creature resting on a stylish lapel.

Intrigued, wondering how this vibrant beastie gained entrance to this posh event, you weave through the crowd until you are just a few feet away.

And then you know, this creature has been captured for eternity by Dee Topham, in a stunning piece of jewelry.

Frogs, seahorses, bees, starfish... and the occasional carrot.... are the result of Dee's detailed, whimsical painting. She also creates unique hand-molded earrings & necklaces.

Dee's work has appeared in the Finger Lakes Exhibition at the Memorial Art Gallery. In addition, she painted "Jupiter", which was installed at the Parkleigh, for the "Horses on Parade" project.
