INVESTIGATION EXPERIENCE
Ms. Viera conducts investigations of harassment, discrimination and other employment
claims. She began her legal career as a neutral fact-finder and developed special
expertise at Littler Mendelson where she taught Human Resource Managers to conduct lawful investigations. She has trained thousands of managers
and employees nationwide on this and other employment law topics. Her Spanish
language skills and experience abroad make her especially useful in investigations of a cross-cultural nature.
Ms. Viera previously practiced employment law at Littler Mendelson, where she
dealt with a variety of labor and employment issues, including disputes arising under Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave
Act, the Americans with Disability Act, wage and hour laws, employment contracts and a variety of California state statutes. Ms. Viera worked with Fortune 500 companies in both state and federal court.
