My "Wants" List
Send me e-mail if you have any of
the following items for sale or for trade -- I'd love make a deal with you!
(References to "Intellivision Lives" are to the CD put out by Intellivision Productions
containing an emulator and ROMs.)
Specific Game Cartridges (known to exist)
- Super Pro Football: original version of cartridge that does NOT work properly on
Intellivision II / PAL systems [either (a) freezes after selecting home/visitor and level;
or (b) does not display quarterback on screen until after ball is hiked].
- NBA Basketball: revised version of cartridge with easier scoring (the version found
on Intellivision Lives is believed to be the original, harder-to-score version).
- Chip Shot Super Pro Golf: original version of cartridge with "caddy" spelling in
credits. (From the title page, select the Pro Shop. Then press '0' to get the game credits.
The credit for Dave Warhol will either say 'Caddy' or 'Caddie' depending on the version.)
- Astrosmash (Digiplay release - Brazil): version used in the $100,000 Astrosmash
Shootoff finalist competition - allows for timed play (1-99 minutes).
Specific Game Cartridges (rumored to exist)
- Lock 'n' Chase: "Collapsing Lupin" (8K) version of the cartridge. The title screen
shows TWO copyright notices (one for Mattel and one for Data East) and each notice uses a true
copyright symbol ("©"), not the "@" which older Mattel games use to indicate copyright.
Animation has been added to the sequence whenever Lupin dies -- he collapses into his hat
(in the original version, he simply stood still when he died).
- Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (Cloudy Mountain): revised version of cartridge that
displays green title screen properly on Sears Super Video Arcade systems.
- Auto Racing: white-label version of cartridge that allegedly contains an easter egg
-- pressing 4,7,8,9,0 and then the lower-left controller button is said to launch the "Mini-
Basketball" or "Basketball II" game.
- Star Strike: revised version of cartridge that fixes bug (using left controller, ship
freezes when disc and fire button are pushed simultaneously).
- Checkers: alternate version of cartridge that features short "RAZZZ" sound effects
(the same as the versions found on Intellivision Lives and on the INTV Triple Challenge
compilation cartridge).
