The New Zork Times was Infocom's customer / fan newsletter. After attorneys from the New York Times sent some nasty letters, Infocom changed the name to The Status Line (with one intermediate issue titled "* * * * *"). The first four issues were originally put out by the Zork User's Group, and the rest by Infocom itself.

Filled with new product "reviews," reader letters and drawings, game designer profiles, bug reports and the famous New Zork Times puzzle, the newsletter was as humorous and intelligently-written as Infocom's games themselves.
