Welcome to Claridge’s Secondary Website. Since 1988 we have been heavily involved in the Conformation Show Ring and the Rescue efforts of Golden Retrievers. We have also engaged in limited breeding for the sole purpose of advancing the breed to the AKC Standard.

In the mid-nineties we got involved with Pugs under the kennel name Emerald. The kids also began showing as Junior Handlers. This website is devoted to those activities.

As with Claridge program, Emerald operates under the watchful eye of Dr. Jack Miller, Miller Animal Hospital, Matthews, NC. Our thanks go out to Dr. Miller who personally performs all x-rays for OFA Certifications and the Vet Checks on all litters.
