PLANNING FOR THIN TECHNOLOGIES
Speaker: Constantine Kaniklidis

Given the current and at least near-term projected economic times, companies need to increasingly and more effectively leverage thin technologies: lightweight technologies that avoids massive expenditures at the machine, infrastructure, software, and development process level, that are simpler and more intuitive, with smaller technical and related staffing requirements, and that in toto have a high ROI for a given relatively small or modest outlay. This overview briefing both predicts and presents the new concepts of thin technology, of its components and their deployment, and details how such technologies may maximize economies and total benefits to the enterprise.
