Hello and welcome to my home page!  My name is Chris Kaiden and I live in Venice, California, home of the world famous Venice Beach.  Venice is on the west side of Los Angeles, with Marina Del Rey to the south and Santa Monica to the north.  There is always a lot happening in the area, and an amazing number of great restaurants  and watering holes to unwind in after a tough day at the beach.

I currently work as a Programmer and Technology Consultant, primarily in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas. I started my career as an Electronics Design Engineer and spent twelve years designing computer hardware and peripherals, along with writing the code to make them fully functional.  When I decided to start my own business I discovered there were far more opportunities in software development than electronic design and have made this the focus of my work.  I have the experience and expertise to help businesses solve a wide range of problems, from designing custom softare and databases to the installation, design and programming of custom computer hardware.  For information on the services I offer to my customers, check out the consulting info page on  this site or jump over to my business site.

As far as spare time activities go, I tend to divide my time between music and sports.  To learn more about my musical talents and interests, check out my music page and links.  I am an avid Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Bears fan, and also watch or listen to every Iowa State Cyclones football and basketball game that I can make time for.  For excercise, I enjoy tennis, golf and skiing, as well as taking long bike rides along the beach trails we have here in the Venice area.
