TS: 8 "Last Stand" ~ Newt and Buffalo Bill join forces to find a legendary Indian chief who has left the reserve without government permission; Hannah mediates between Josiah and Austin, who has published a story he plagiarized.
TS: 9 "Ballad of a Gunfighter" ~ Austin thinks he shot an outlaw and takes on a gunslinger persona, which impresses the girl he’s courting; Newt and an undercover Pinkerton agent "join" a family gang of Irish bank robbers to apprehend them; Clay confronts Austin.
TS: 10 "Where the Heart Is" ~ Clay’s friend Olivia arrives and goes into business with him at the new Ambrosia Club; Newt and Hannah have difficulty learning to act as a couple; Newt’s cattle are rustled by an old friend, who shoots him.
TS: 11 "Firebrand" ~ Newt and Hannah help an interracial couple passing through town and the man loses his wagon and horses gambling in the Ambrosia; Clay offers to let him win them back in a horse race against Newt.
TS: 12 "High Lonesome" ~ Newt and Austin are attacked near Sweetwater; Newt is rescued by Curtis (of the wells fame) and he teaches Newt wilderness survival skills.
TS: 13 "Law and Order" ~ Sheriff Kearney arrives; Clay hires men to scare people off soon-to-be railroad land he wants to buy, but fires them when one assaults Hannah; they come after Clay at the Ambrosia Club; Olivia leaves.
TS: 14 "The Road Home" ~ Newt’s horse is captured by Indians and he hitches a ride on a stagecoach; he helps the passengers when two men attack, seeking revenge against a Pinkerton agent among them.
TS: 15 "Blood Money" ~ An ex-con returns to town wanting to go straight, but a temporary deputy harasses him with ulterior motives; Newt helps the man and uncovers the deputy’s real intentions.
TS: 16 "Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show" ~ Newt and Hannah go to Bismarck and help Buffalo Bill save his Wild West Show from financial sabotage.

TS: 19 "The List" ~ Curtis finds gold and miners converge on Curtis Wells; Clay goes after a Union soldier whom he believes was responsible for his family’s murders during the Civil War; Newt puts Clay in jail.
TS: 20 "Ties That Bind" ~ Newt is thought to be dead; Clay makes moves on a grieving Hannah and they kiss, causing Hannah much guilt when Newt is rescued by his father, Woodrow Call.
TS: 21 "Snowbound" ~ Outlaws take control of the town while it is snowbound; Clay presses his case with Hannah, who rejects him and then tells Newt about the kiss; Clay, Newt and Luther kill the outlaws, but Hannah is trapped in an explosion.

TOY: 7 "The Bride" ~ Call helps a mail-order bride escape the men who lay claim to her; A preacher comes to town and, being bad for business, Clay tries to corrupt and get rid of him.
TOY: 8 "Providence" ~ Amanda arrives and buys the hotel, setting up conflict with Clay, who sees her as a business rival; Amanda is pursued by her former lover and partner in crime, and he also comes into conflict with Clay.
TOY: 9 "Redemption" ~ An explosion in Clay’s copper mine kills and injures many and blame falls on Clay, who has an attack of conscience even as he tries to shift the blame to somebody else; UnBob has a near death experience.
