This year we have had four low or no cost events for members. A referee clinic, kata clinic, coach's clinic and a competitor's clinic. Next we are planning a first aid / CPR clinic.

Connecticut Judo Incorporated (CJI), a not for profit corporation, is the State governing body of Judo in Connecticut. CJI is a group "B" member of The United States Judo, Inc. (USJI). USJI is the National governing body of Judo in the United States. It is given the authority by the United States Olympic Committee and is a voting member of the International Judo Federation. (IJF). Connecticut Judo Incorporated has as it's primary goal the preparation and training of amateur Judo players in Connecticut for competing at the National and International level. We hope to further the Olympic sport of Judo by increasing interest, making information and training more available to players, coaches and the volunteer corps group that officiate tournaments,

BENEFITS of MEMBERSHIP

We begin each season with a referee clinic in the beginning of September. We have added a monatary reward for taking Gold, silver or bronze at the Junior Olympics. We offer reduced of free admission to clinics including kata, referee, first aid, competition and others.Chartered clubs recieve one vote plus one for every five members at CJI meetings.Chartered clubs may borrow 2 scoreboards and 2 match clocks free of charge for sanctioned events..[Return to top]
