For your birth, Pacific Birth Support offers a full range of services which include supplemental childbirth
education, details of hospital protocols and environment, information about choices in childbirth, and instruction in effective
comfort measures. Many women choose to use a document called a Birth Plan, which we will write with you, according to your
preferences.
For mothers who are unable to attend childbirth classes due to bed rest or other circumstances, we offer
private classes by a certified childbirth educator who can teach you in the comfort of your home.
For your postpartum needs, we offer an hourly service in which new mothers receive guidence in baby care,
breastfeeding, and self care during the important days and weeks following birth. We are able to perform light housekeeping
and meal preparation, and run errands.
Our goal is to offer a new mother the means by which to care for her baby with confidence.
Rates for these services are as follows:
* Prenatal/ birth package $950.00
*Postpartum care: $40.00 per hour, with a 4 hour min.
The following classes ( 4 or fewer couples) are held monthly in San Francisco by nationally certified teachers in each
discipline:
Childbirth Preparation: Two 2.5 hr sessions presented
in an interactive style
with current DVD films.....$200 per couple
Private childbirth preparation classes at our lovely Cow Hollow location or in the privacy
of your home: $300.00
CBP Refresher Class: One three
hour class: $75.00
Newborn Parenting: One 3 hour class....$70.00
Breastfeeding: One 2.5 hour class..$75.00
Infant and child CPR: One 2 hour class.....$50.00
