The Cake is Ready

Nothing is straight forward
But as humans...
Maybe that is a Blessing as we'd
Only walk straight
ahead
falling off at the end,
not really experiencing
the fully bounty,
full bountiful curves of life.

For life is a curving path
though it feels jagged at
with its startling, unexpected deadends
which only make us gravitate
towards that which helps us grow
into the full being of who
we are not yet recognizing.
