The walk across town is not all bad
And the joggers you see are not all
sad
Bicycle riders give out a smile
Hikers & walkers show a
pleasant style
A friendly hello is a welcome to share
And a wave of a
hand or a friendly stare
Is very nice from people you meet
And a cool
breezy morning is a comfortable treat
And a sunny day with trees so shaded
And a stroll through a cemetery in a pensive mood
With a gander at the
marble orchard messages faded
Brings order to the world with the common
good
And the solitary air of that graveyard walk
Takes us back to Mother
Nature from a world of talk
Great forces grow as giant hands bestowing
The gift of lava fire
exploding
Volcanic mouths of flame devouring
Mountain land once
flowering
The rains & plains are steamily imploding
While massive
clouds of ash are blowing.
Now speak to me of your eternal circle
Oh cosmic reptile with rainbow
skin
You spoke to Australian Aborigine in early time
But they are
silent now with White Skin culture!
Speak to me now, at this hour, for my time
Or show me your reality
entire,
Opening up the galaxy of my mind,
The astronomy of unproved
science!
your are painted canvas in my study
But live to symbolize the birth of
stars,
The deaths of many suns, and the pathway
to the superclusters
of our universe
Chatham 1st night 1995/96
Florida sunshine may be warm and free
And Florida oranges may sweeten
the tree
And Florida people are suntanned such
But its good to be home
from traveling much!
Cape Cod beaches are clear & serene
Cape Cod sunsets are scenic and
green
Cape Cod autumns are colors ablaze
But its great to come home to
Wyoming sage!
Cheyenne may be windy chilly and cold
But her people are friendly
honest and bold
Cheyenne may not have the salt water sea
But her
western skies look natural & free!
Texas may boast of her stars big & bright
And coyotes may howl on
her ranges at night
But Wyoming skies are clearer by far
At night we
can see every planet and star!
But most of all its our Cheyenne family tree
So open and spiritually
loving and free
I really feel happiness returning back home
The
further I travel, the further I roam!
