The world into which you were born
Is in a transitory state:
A jobberwocky journey where
Salvation may arrive too late.
You came here as a tiny babe,
With such a mighty will;
So eager to take on the world,
Your mission to fulfill.
One day, you'll crawl, and walk, and run;
Too soon grown wise and tall
While we remember, softly, times
When you were cuddly small.
And, you'll grow with our changing world;
Observe its wondering way;
Pursue your namesake destiny
To teach, and serve, and pray.
Until that time, enjoy the love
We give a tiny tot.
Enchant us with your happy smile
Through those few teeth you've got.
Bestow your peace on Mom and Dad
And brother Banner too;
And know your Grandpa loves you
And he will your whole life through.
