It is 6 AM, dark, and 9 members of the VIM team gathered at the CUMC parking lot. Here is the back of the minivan carrying some of the luggage. The team members traveled to Columbus, OH to catch their flight. After stops in Nashville and Houston, we arrived in Albuquerque in the mid afternoon. And it was raining—or at least sprinkling off and on! We even saw a rainbow.
The late afternoon and evening was spent in Old Town, visiting some of the shops and having dinner at Little Anita’s. Then it was back to the hotel for a well deserved rest. Remember, the day for most of us ran from 5 AM until 11 PM.
Tomorrow we do some more sightseeing, and join the rest of the team members who are either driving from OH or flying in on a Sunday flight.
