The Finishing Time for Most Projects

Today saw the completion of most projects and the end of the first stage of another.  Not much has been said this week about the video project, but Janice has spent all of her time interviewing teachers, students, administrators, and friends of McCurdy, plus video taping classes and activities at the school.  Marilyn has taken countless photos of everything at McCurdy.  So the gathering data phase of this project is ending, but there is much more to be done before the project is complete.

The office work is never-ending, but Nancy, Pat, and Oleta put in a full day updating addresses and preparing for future mass mailings.  They have made a significant dent in the "to do" list.

The mulching project was completed.  A fairly large area in front and along side one of the main buildings and the student union now looks much nicer.

The avaiary was completed, stained and moved to the Jr. High Science classroom.

The cross shaped planter was filled with high grade topsoil and a plant.  Commerative placques were mounted on both the aviary and planter.

It has been a tremendous week!  The team has worked well together with each other and the IN team and has accomplished so much.  Many thanks to each of the team members, to the church members and staff who prayed for us, helped get the children involved, made project contributions, and provided transportation to and from the airport.  A special thank you to Linda Catrone for designing and making our team t-shirts and to Mark Fellows for providing and maintaining this website.  Each and every one of you have helped make this mission successful.
