RESEARCH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Needed: Participants
over the age of 18, with a C6 or C7 motor level of SCI, and at least two years
post injury.
For a study comparing: general functional ability, community participation,
and self-esteem between manual and power wheelchair users who have C6 or C7
tetraplegia due to spinal cord injury (SCI).
Participation will
require volunteers to meet with the investigator(s) on one occasion, for
approximately 90 minutes. Participants will be asked to respond to several
subjective questions on a demographics form, as well as a number of objective
items on each of the three questionnaires used in this study. Participants
identification will be kept completely confidential and will not appear on any
materials containing questionnaire or demographic responses.

The Study is being
conducted through the University of Puget Sound School of Physical Therapy and
has been approved by their Institutional Review Board.
