THE TEN COMMANDMENTS - Exodus 20:1-17
1. I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of
the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor
any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under
the earth; thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity
of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto the thousandth
generation of them that love Me and keep My commandments.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God
in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six
days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work; but the seventh day is a sabbath unto the LORD thy God, in it thou shalt not
do any manner of work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor
thy stranger that is within thy gates; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and
rested on the seventh day; wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
5. Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days
may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
6. Thou shalt not murder.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house; thou
shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that
is thy neighbour's.
CHRIST'S NEW COMMANDMENT
"I give you a new command: Love each other. You must
love each other as I have loved you. All people will know that you are my followers if you love each other." John 13:34-35

THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. On earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread. And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us form evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, Forever and ever. Amen! Matthew 6:9-13 KJV
PSALM 23:1-6 KJV - A PSALM OF DAVID
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh
me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths
of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no
evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest
my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will
dwell in the hous of the Lord forever. Amen!
THE BEATITUDES
When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain;
and after he sat down, his disciples came to him. Then he began to speak, and taught them, saying:
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom
of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called
children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for justice' sake,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute
you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven,
for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 5:1-12 (New Revised Standard Version)
WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT GIVING:
"Give, and you will receive. You will
be given much. Pressed down, shaken together, and running over, it will spill into your lap. The way you give to others is
the way God will give to you." Luke 6:38 NCV
As Jesus looked up, he saw some rich people putting their gifts into the Temple Money box. Then he saw
a poor widow putting two small copper coins into the box. He said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow gave more than all
those rich people. They gave only what they did not need. This woman is very poor, but she gave all she had to live on." Luke
