Traditional artwork is the foundation for all of my visual design work. Every website I create, every logo design, every program icon, is sketched first even if it is just for my own personal use. Sometimes a design will come together on its own, but even then if I do not sketch things I start to forget what my ideas looked like in my mind. Besides sketching, I create paintings and drawings in a variety of media, in watercolors, oils, graphite and colored pencils and conté crayons. I've drawn architecture, wildlife, landscapes and the human figure for my illustration portfolio.
