Commercial Websites: Pensions 2000   Pensions2000 gathers experienced institutional managers, respected business leaders, senior government officials, leading academics and other delegates from throughout the world in conference forums with pension plan sponsor leaders to review and discuss topics and issues germane to the pension fund industry. Pensions2000 had a problem in which they did not have any print media, business cards, stationary or any materials from which I could draw items out of and complete a design in step with their corporate identity... because they didn't have one. My user interface for the site was to remain simple, yet show a richness that would appeal to senior executives and pension fund leaders. I drew on elements of Phillip Schaefer's own office to get the colors and shapes of the site's current design, including their logo into the background as Mr. Schaefer asked for it not to be very prominent.
