The Natural Science Center of Greensboro was created much in the same way as the Greensboro Coliseum, in that it was to be updated by the client after a period of time. The site had to be eye-pleasing, easy to update, but be created in a very limited budget and timeframe.

I kept the font choices, color scheme, and look of the Science Center's printed promotions so that they would have a unified look across all of their advertising media.I went through several ideas of their navigation to get something that worked. I finally found insipiration in some of my old science textbooks that I was scanning through for ideas; the patterns behind the navigation, and in the borders of the website are stylized renderings of DNA, redrawn by me in Adobe Illustrator.

The customer needed to be able to update the website, and trained in web-editing software as well. To make this more possible for them, and easier for the Depot, I made the construction of the website as simple as possible, with many comments inserted into the HTML code explaining the function of every part of the page.
