Go is an ancient board game which originated in Asia thousands of years ago. In Chinese it is called weiqi, in Korean it is called baduk, but we use the Japanese word, go.
You may have seen this game in movies such as A Beautiful Mind or Pi. Go has also been featured in a popular anime, Hikaru no Go.
The object of the game is surround more territory than your opponent. The rules are simple, and can be learned in a few minutes. If you are interested in learning, please come to our beginner's night.
