We went to the Science center tonight and got to be part of a members only party. We watched Circus -du soleil...what a great movie. Lot of fun to be had. |

I took some friends out sailing on Loup de Mer on Sunday, the wind was lousy but it was still fun. Luke got to go sailing for the first time. He mostly stayed below and complained. Chip off the ol' block, huh? |

Took Friday off again to go boating. Unfortunatly it was so hot, bugs would fly to our boat and die. What was mother nature thinking when she gave these bugs directions? |

Well, solenoid is replaced, but I think the new starter is bad. Back to Sears again. |

The service guy told me that it was a $10 solenoid that was causing the problem. So, I'm going back to Sears. |

I went to Sears and purchased a replacement starter for about $100 and will put it on tonight...I sure hope that fixes it. |

Well, the started failed on the craftsman lawn tractor. Lollie thinks she breaks any mechanical thing she touches. I reminded her that the tractor was nearly 10 years old and it wasn't her fault. |

Well, it won't stop going from broiling heat to steaming rain this summer. The grass has gotten about 15" tall, We're going to try to cut it today. |

I've been sailing almost every weekend since April. While I really enjoy it, I missing having that day with Lollie and Luke. I took this Saturday off from Sailing and I really felt like a I had a long weekend for a change. |

I took a vacation day Friday, and we went out in the boat. We ran for about a half hour until we found someone who needed help. In trying to help that person, the nut that determines throttle friction came loose and that someone ended up towing US to shore. Ain't life grand sometimes? |

I can't stop thinking about an email I received today from Chris Basinger at Infotel. My friend, Jolene Hall has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer, and it could easily be fatal. Jolene was directly responsible for the early success and establishment of Thunder Enterprises, now Warp10 Computers. This is quite a shock to me, cause I don't think the young lady is even 30 yet. I can't understand why it may be her time. I can't believe she's got nothing else to offer in her Christian life?! I really don't understand the choices that God makes sometimes. |

on Friday I dropped off Laurie's BMW and picked up a loaner. I'm now driving a Toyota Prius hybrid. It is really cool and bigger than my car on the inside. But there's still no substitute for horsepower. I'm taking the other half of my vacation day today. |

Well, I took a vacation day today...OK actually, I was at the office until 10:00 last night and back at 6:30 this morning because enough of you did not wish us luck. It took me about 3 hours to restore Fourth Shift to the "before conversion" state and I only got a half a vacation day. |

Well, it has been a week with no update. Oddly enough, I really feel great. I've gotten a lot of little and a few major projects off of my to-do-list. I realy feel like I am able to catch my breath. I still have stuff to do, but it is things I want to do...not things I need to do.
In addition, I've begun talking to myself again. And, that is a good thing. I missed not talking to myself. It's like I forgot who the person was that I am. I need to take care of that person. |
