OK...its been so long since I've made an update that I'm embarrased by it...and have put it off all week. So heres whats new:

-STL Cardinals made it to the world series
-Lollie and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary
-We bought a new sectional sofa
-Axel Foley has taken over peeing all over the place now that Vader is no longer there to do it.
-STL cardinals are getting their butts kicked on national TV in the World Series.
-The World series is NOT named after a NY newspaper called the World.
-I'm reading The Da Vinci Code and it is awesome
-tha-tha-that's all folks!

First the bad news..email server crashed this morning...the sixth person to tell me they had an email problem made me cranky.

Now the good news...I got a raise.

If you come across spam (bulk unsolicited email) that offers software or other merchandise for sale at incredible discounts please beware. People that engage in identity theft can and do set up fake websites that look like legitimate online places to buy products when in fact, these sites are designed to steal your identity. If you receive an offer that you feel might not be legitimate, forward the message to the Federal Trade Commission at uce@ftc.gov

Something terrible has been happening in Russia and I bet you don't know about it. At least 100 die in bloody Russian School Battle. At least one hundred people including dozens of kids were killed. God, I beseach you to bring mercy, aid, and comfort to the living and the dead.

The future is here. The future is now. Most of the 135 known extrasolar planets have masses on a par with Jupiter, a gas giant several hundred times the mass of Earth. But the two new planets weigh in at around Neptune's mass, which is 17 times that of Earth, and span about three times Earth's diameter. These are about 45 light years away.

It's time to launch a multi-generational ship to head towards the unknown. The minerals out there could easily pay for the trip. It is all out there waiting for us. A future without hate and war. We just have to figure out how to get there. And the ship, her name will be Enterprise.

Last night I had the strangest dream. I drempt that I was back at my aunt and uncle's house and all my relatives that had passed on where there, both my nana's, Rose and Uncle Bud, and of course Bonnie and Craig. Bonnie looked great...she looked like she was in her mid 40's...not too thin and not to thick...just right...she was taking me to show me where she hid her diamond ring. She showed me this plastic bear that if you turn it over you can see it was screwed together but open on the bottom. The ring was crammed way in there.

I then started questioning where or better yet, WHEN I was. I looked at the calendar and saw that it was July 4th, 2004. I turned to my uncle and said, today is the day that you have or maybe had a heart attack. he replied, heck no, I'm just fine. He started to walk across the floor and turned, clutching his chest and fell to the ground. I ran to him and started doing CPR on his yelling call 911. As I was working on him, I woke up.

Last night, I finally got to kill (well...it was already dead) the tree that always scratched my face, arms, and legs at my mom's house when I would walk to the house from the studio parking lot....I cut that sucker to the ground with my Stihl chain saw and hauled it off.<demonic laughter)>.

I still have a sore throat so I called the Dr...am getting more drugs.

Noticed a weeping sore and some swelling on Wallstreet's face. Taking him to the vet tomorrow.

I've venting about high oil prices again. If "Joe Consumer" used to be able to top off his tank every week for $20 and now it costs him $35.00, how much less money does he have to buy stuff?

Or, think about it this way..if it used to cost $.20 per mile to ship goods and now it costs $.35 per mile to ship it, will I raise the price of my goods or will I make less profit.

With these two factors alone, it's no wonder our economy is @#$% up.

Happy August! I now know the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle.
See there are HUGE methane deposits in the Atlantic. These methane deposits do two things:

1. A huge bubble can come up from the ocean bottom, creating a huge wave that can swamp and sink a ship.
2. If a plane flys through some released methane it can explode or trick a pilot's instuments into thinking he is steeply climbing although under level flight. All the while he is acutally descending because methane is lighter than air.

Well, it's tax time and my Accountant got even with me for my April Fool's joke. Here's how it went...

"Well, the number is $XXXX.00"(a large 4 digit figure)
"OK"
"Refund".
"OMG, seriously, AWESOME"

As you have all made me aware having two numbering systems coming over from Clientele has created confusion in your various departments.

To eliminate this confusion, all order coming into Fourth Shift from Clientele will begin with "C" and end with HQ and be in a numerical sequence starting around 525.

If you have questions or comments, please let me know asap as we are live with this numerical change.

1. Why do we have to have alpha characters at both ends of the order number?
2. Three numerical digits is insufficient for expansion. 474 orders from now you are out of space sequentially.
3.. Why can't you discuss this with the people involved prior to implementation?

I told him to write me a plug in for Microsoft Exchange server that sets up a challenge-response reply when someone on that server gets an e-mail. If you don't understand, that's ok...it's just end of spam as we know it. If it works, I'll invite you to my private island and explain it to all of you.
